Observation Narrative ? Plot is located < 50 m NNW of plot GRAF201P. While composition and physiognomy are similar, vegetation here is codominated by Quercus alba and Q. velutina, Fagus grandifolia and Liriodendron tulipifera are essentially absent, and Acer rubrum and Oxydendrum arboreum form a distinct subcanopy layer. Clumps of Asimina triloba are present in each intensively sampled module. Lack of tree regeneration is again likely a function of heavy deer browsing.
